MEXICO CITY — Mexican steel distributor Plesa Anáhuac y Cías SA de CV anticipates processing 350,000 tons of steel products annually at a new service center in Monterrey.

The $45-million facility is expected to open in February 2013, chief executive officer Eduardo Zundelevich Kauffman told AMM sister publication Steel First. He did not disclose what types of steel the service center will handle or how much the new facility will add to the company’s total processing capacity. ....
