Zimbabwe moves to stamp out chrome ore smuggling

WINDHOEK, Namibia — The Zimbabwean government intends to enforce stringent export controls in an attempt to close smuggling loopholes ahead of its two-year relaxation of a chrome exports ban.

The measures will include the auditing of tonnages at mine sites and an increase in the number of customs agents at border points, AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin understands.....
