Aluminum alloy prices firm, scrap mixed

NEW YORK — Free-market secondary aluminum alloy prices continued to rise Thursday following an earlier bump on the London Metal Exchange, but aluminum scrap tags moved in different directions.

A380.1 moved up to a range of 98 to 99 cents per pound from 97 to 98 cents previously and alloy 319.1 rose to $1.04 to $1.06 per pound from $1.03 to $1.05.....
