Container ferrous scrap export tags fall again

NEW YORK U.S. containerized ferrous scrap export prices delivered to India dropped further as rapidly declining sentiment took $10 per tonne off prices.
Market participants in both countries said containerized shredded scrap prices dropped to $424 per tonne c.f.r. Nhava Sheva by Thursday from $425 to $435 per tonne previously, prompting buyers for Indian mills to lower their offers to $415 per tonne. No trades were reported at that level. Containerized shredded scrap prices to India earlier in the week were reported down some $5 to $8 per tonne to $425 and $435 per tonne c.f.r. Nhava Sheva (amm.com, Aug. 29).....
