Energy players team to build natural gas pipeline

CHICAGO — DTE Energy Co., Enbridge Inc. and Spectra Energy Corp. plan to build a pipeline to move natural gas from the Utica Shale in Ohio to markets in the Midwest and Canada, the energy companies said Tuesday.

The Nexus Gas Transmission project is expected to cost between $1.2 billion and $1.5 billion, using about 250 miles of large-diameter pipe, and is projected to be in service as early as November 2015, depending on market demand and regulatory approvals, according to the companies. ....
