CHICAGO Negotiations between the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union and Detroits Big Three automakers appear to have hit a roadblock as a Sept. 17 strike deadline approaches, the union said Wednesday.
The union said that it has begun preparations for a strike in light of what it called a coordinated effort to cut costs by Chrysler Group LLC, Auburn Hills, Mich.; Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich.; and General Motors Co., Detroit.....
