MEXICO CITY Hot-rolled coil prices in the Mexican distribution chain have been rising since the start of the year, following hikes implemented by local steelmakers, distribution sources told AMM sister publication Steel First.
One sales executive from a major service center in Mexico City said that prices rose an average of 6 to 7 percent from January to August, with most of that happening during the first half of the year.....
