Ferrochrome sinks further; nickel prices a bright spot

NEW YORK — High-carbon ferrochrome prices fell again this past week as demand for the product remained poor amid plentiful supply.

"There’s just an abundance of material around," one trader said.

Prices for truckload sales are now between $1.04 and $1.07 per pound, down from $1.05 to $1.11 previously.....
