NEW YORK Free-market aluminum scrap and alloy prices continued to rise Thursday on the back of a surge in London Metal Exchange prices, with market participants reporting increased but still-tentative trading levels as many waited for the LME to level out.
A380.1 rose to a range of $1.01 to $1.03 per pound from $1 to $1.01 previously, while 319.1 widened to a range of $1.06 to $1.08 per pound from the prior range of $1.06 to $1.07 per pound.....
