Europe ferrochrome benchmark will fall: Yildirim

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — The European benchmark price for charge chrome and high-carbon ferrochrome will fall 5 to 10 cents per pound in the fourth quarter, Yildirim Group president and chief executive officer Robert Yildirim predicted.

"We expect ferrochrome supply to be slightly higher than demand in the next quarter," Yildirim told delegates at AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin’s 11th International Stainless Steel Summit in Stockholm.....
