RTI Canton fire to hit bottom line, not orders

LOS ANGELES RTI International Metals Inc. has temporarily shifted its manufacturing activities from one Ohio site to another in the wake of a weekend fire that knocked out an electrical transformer.
The fire at the Canton site is expected to have "no impact to any customer delivery schedules," the Pittsburgh-based producer said, noting the shift in manufacturing to its Niles site.
However, third-quarter operating income at RTIs titanium group could take a hit in the range of $1.25 million to $1.75 million. The groups operating income in the second quarter was $4.9 million.....
