US lead consumption falls, zinc ticks up slightly: ILZSG

NEW YORK U.S. lead usage continues to lag behind last years levels, while zinc usage has been "marginally higher," according to preliminary data from the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG).
The Lisbon, Portugal-based organization said global lead metal production totaled 916,600 tonnes in July, putting the year-to-date total at 6.16 million tonnes, up 1 percent from the same period last year.....
