LONDON Outokumpu Oyj plans to offload its Swedish operations to gain European Commission approval for its proposed merger with Inoxum Group.
The stainless steel producer has proposed selling its Swedish facilities after the commission insisted that a portion of the combined assets of Espoo, Finland-based Outokumpu and Essen, Germany-based Inoxum be sold off before the $3.45-billion deal....
