CIT denies importer appeal on duty revocation

NEW YORK — The U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) has rejected a steel importer’s appeal to change the revocation date of a dumping duty order on steel nails from China.

The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) revoked duties in May 2011 on four types of steel nails effective Aug. 1, 2009, but the importer requested a date of Jan. 23, 2008.....
