Skana to buy Scott Aluminum in W.Va.

NEW YORK — Skana Aluminum Co. has signed a letter of intent to purchase Scott Aluminum Corp., a cold-rolling mill in Clarksburg, W.Va.

Manitowoc, Wis.-based Skana expects to complete the transaction by the end of the month, a spokesman told AMM. Skana said the transaction would not include the assets of Scott Aluminum sister company Scott Brass in Cranston, R.I.....
