Aluminum alloy prices hold on mixed scrap mart

NEW YORK Secondary aluminum alloy producers refused to lower prices Monday as a mixed scrap market offered support against further weakening in terminal exchange prices.
The North American special aluminum alloy contract (Nasaac) cash price traded at $2,050.5 per tonne, or 93 cents per pound, in Tuesdays official session on the London Metal Exchange down from Fridays price of $2,063 per tonne, or 93.6 cents per pound. However, cash Nasaac settled even lower at about 92.4 cents per pound Monday before making a modest recovery Tuesday.....
