Nucor lowers raw material extras

NEW YORK — Nucor Corp. will lower its raw material surcharges on steel plate and sheet products in October.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based steelmaker will reduce the surcharge on all sheet products by $33 per ton to $217 per ton ($10.85 per hundredweight) for orders with a scheduled delivery date in the....
