NEW YORK Veteran steel mill equipment manufacturer Paul S. Morgan died Sunday in Duxbury, Mass., at the age of 88.
Morgan, former chairman and president of Morgan Construction Co., was the fourth generation of his family to head the Worcester, Mass.-based rolling mill equipment engineer and manufacturer founded in 1888.
Upon graduation from college in 1944, he served as an officer with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theater. After working at Laclede Steel Co. in Alton, Ill., he joined Morgan Construction in 1947, starting work on the assembly floor.....
