CHICAGO — The energy business likely will stand out as a bright spot even as the general economy struggles over the coming years, a top industry executive said.

Oil and natural gas is "where the action is. It’s sustainable. It’s the only story," Shale-Inland Holdings LLC chief executive officer Craig Bouchard told participants at AMM's 26th annual Stainless and Its Alloys Conference in Chicago.....
