NEW YORK The European Union said Thursday it will ask the World Trade Organization (WTO) for authorization to impose sanctions of some $12 billion annually against the United States for allegedly continuing to subsidize Chicago-based Boeing Co.
The European Union said the United States "had not lived up to its obligation to remove its illegal subsidies" and the amount was "based on estimates of the damages suffered by the E.U. due to unfair and....
