LME ASIAN WRAP: Copper edges up in quiet trading

London Metal Exchange copper prices inched up in early Asian trading on Friday, although trading was very slim ahead of a week-long holiday in China.
Three-month copper opened at $8,200 per tonne, up by 2.1% from its Thursday official settlement. It moved between $8,195-8,233.25 per tonne before trading at $8,227.75 by British time 02:09, up 0.3% from opening.
