PITTSBURGH Three Rivers Iron & Metal has agreed to pay more than $20,000 to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to resolve alleged violations at its Elkins facility.
The Fairmont, W.Va.-headquartered recycler had been under scrutiny since 2004, when it was issued an order from the state for allegedly illegally accepting and depositing 600 tons of incinerator ash from Clean Metal LLC. Both....
