NEW YORK Copper scrap prices generally declined Thursday as buyers sat out of the market amid slowing orders and rising Comex copper prices.
Spreads on No. 1 brass mill copper scrap moved to 9 to 10 cents per pound from 8 to 10 cents previously, while spreads on refiners and rod mills No. 1 copper scrap widened to 20 to 22 cents per pound from 19 to 20 cents and No. 2 pushed....
