NEW YORK U.S. manufacturing expanded in September to end a three-month slide, according to data released last week by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
The purchasing managers index (PMI) hit 51.5 percent, an increase of 1.9 points from August. A reading above 50 percent indicates that the sector is generally expanding.....
