NEW YORK Century Aluminum Co. and Big Rivers Electric Corp. will meet this week in a fresh attempt to hash out a power contract for the Monterey, Calif.-based producers Hawesville, Ky., smelter.
Century and Big Rivers met Oct. 1 after the aluminum producer put forth a proposal for a new power contract for the 250,000-tonne-per-year smelter, and are now aiming to sit down again later this week, both parties told AMM.....
