Bidders sought for troubled Serbia plant

LONDON — The Serbian government is seeking a strategic investor to acquire 75 percent of steelmaker Zelezara Smederevo (ZS), AMM sister publication Steel First reported.

Interested parties have until Oct. 26 to submit a bid for the plant, which must include a business plan for at least four years and a $50-million investment to restart....
