SHANGHAI — Spot aluminum stockpiles in China are approaching 1 million tonnes for the first time in history following large deliveries during the country’s weeklong October holiday, according to a report by Shanghai Metals Market.
Stockpiles of the light metal on a spot basis have risen by around 100,000 tonnes from before the holiday to 985,000 tonnes as of Tuesday, Shanghai Metals Market said. ....
