WorldSteel tempers steel demand forecast for Latin America

SÃO PAULO — The World Steel Association (WorldSteel) has revised its forecast for apparent steel use in Central and South America downward for both 2012 and 2013.

In its latest forecast, WorldSteel said that most of the countries in these regions have been facing "headwinds from the poor external economic environment."....
