NEW YORK Some free-market aluminum scrap and alloy prices dropped Thursday in line with a decrease on the London Metal Exchange, with traders reporting slower activity moving into the fourth quarter.
A380.1 dropped to a range of $1.02 to $1.04 per pound from $1.03 to $1.05, while 319.1 alloy dropped to a range of $1.07 to $1.08 from $1.08 to $1.10.....
