Copper cathode premiums decline in Chilean spot market

SÃO PAULO — Spot market premiums for Chilean Grade A copper cathodes fell $2 per tonne in August from July, reaching an average of $76.70 per tonne, according to figures from the Chilean Copper Commission (Cochilco).

Asia paid August’s highest spot premiums at $90.10 per tonne, followed by Europe at $80.70 per tonne. ....
