Press Forge leader Jeffrey Carlton dies; stressed independence

LOS ANGELES — Jeffrey Carlton, chairman, chief executive officer and founder of Press Forge Co., died Sept. 24, the aerospace and energy industry supplier said.
Mike Buxton, president of Paramount, Calif.-based Press Forge, confirmed industry reports that Carlton was 61. The cause of Carlton’s death was not disclosed.....
