NEW YORK Stainless scrap prices continue to fall due to weak end-user demand and softening raw material prices.
"Demand is really in the toilet right now," one dealer said.
Processor buying prices for 304 clips and solids now range between $1,545 and $1,615 per gross ton, down from $1,635 to $1,680; and 316 clips and solids are now at $2,240 to $2,310 per ton vs. $2,285 to $2,330 previously.....
