LONDON Base metal prices are likely to rise modestly in 2013 despite risk factors that remain, according to Prestige Economics LLC president Jason Schenker.
Austin, Texas-based Prestige Economics expects the London Metal Exchange aluminum price to average $2,100 per tonne in the first quarter, up from $2,075 in the current quarter and $1,923 in the third quarter of this year, and average $2,250 per tonne by the fourth quarter of 2013.....
