No contract cancellations, deferrals, says Codelco exec

LONDON Copper demand in certain segments is subdued, but Chilean producer Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile (Codelco) has had no contract cancellations or deferrals.
Despite the sometimes-gloomy economic backdrop, the copper market so far has "surpassed expectations," chief executive officer Thomas Keller told AMM. "As far as our customers are concerned, we havent seen a decline in orders" or any cancellations or deferrals.....
