NEW YORK Newmont Mining Corp.s third-quarter copper production fell 8 percent compared with the preceding three months and 39.7 percent from a year earlier.
The companys copper production reached 35 million pounds in the third quarter, a 3-million-pound decline from the second quarter and a 23-million-pound fall from the same period last year. ....
