Chinese ferrosilicon producers raise offer prices

SHANGHAI — Most Chinese ferrosilicon producers lifted their offer prices slightly this week after inquiries began to pick up.

Offers from major production bases, such as Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and Inner Mongolia, have risen to a range of 5,850 to 6,000 yuan ($936 to $960) per tonne, up 50 to 100 yuan ($8 to $16) from a week earlier, producer sources said. ....
