NEW YORK — Primetrade Inc. has filed a lawsuit against three of its former employees and competitor Carbones-IMR USA Inc. for allegedly engaging in unfair trade practices.

Carbones lured top employees from the Charlotte, N.C., importer and distributor of pig iron, hot-briquetted iron and ferroalloys by offering them higher pay packages, and damaged Primetrade’s business by illegally acquiring confidential company information, according to the lawsuit filed in North Carolina Superior Court.....
