MEXICO CITY Unfair trade practices are at the root of the Mexican steel industrys problems as it attempts to expand, according to Porfirio González Mier, president of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology Mexico (AIST Mexico).
González said that the challenges facing the Mexican steel sector have arisen largely because it hasnt been able to respond to unfair trade practices from China and other Asian countries. ....
