AK, NAS follow Ludlum's stainless surcharge hike

NEW YORK — AK Steel Corp. and North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) have raised most stainless surcharges for November on the back of higher nickel prices.

West Chester, Ohio-based AK Steel set its surcharges at 79.55 cents per pound for Type 304 material, up 3.8 percent from 76.63 cents in October; 52.07 cents per pound for Type 201, up....
