SHANGHAI South Korean steelmaker Posco Ltd. expects earnings to fall slightly in the fourth quarter due to slow demand and oversupply, the company said Tuesday.
"With the expectation of a possible decrease in raw materials input costs, we think that any earnings decline would not be significant," Posco said.
The company expects raw material prices to rise in the first quarter of 2013 due to "climate factors in major mining areas" and a possible "simulation policy" by the new Chinese government. ....
