Refined copper exports up sharply in September, China says

SHANGHAI Chinas refined copper exports climbed sharply in September as market participants anticipated a tax cancellation and poor domestic demand encouraged overseas sales of toll-rolled copper.
Outbound shipments of refined copper totaled 8,016 tonnes last month, nearly five times the amount in August and three times higher than the amount exported in the year-ago period, according to customs data. ....
