CIT upholds aluminum extrusion decision vs. China

NEW YORK — The U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) has upheld a decision from 2011 that imports of "finished heat sinks" from China aren’t hurting the domestic aluminum extrusion industry.

The decision, made public Monday, contends that heat sinks aren’t part of the original scope when determining relief duties on imports of aluminum extrusions, that the domestic finished heat sink industry hasn’t been hurt by imports and that heat sinks shouldn’t receive dumping and subsidy margins.....
