Outokumpu loss more than doubles to $42M in third qtr.

LONDON — Finnish steel group Outokumpu Oyj’s financial losses more than doubled in the third quarter of 2012 compared to the second, company results released Wednesday show.

The stainless steelmaker reported negative earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) of €32 million ($42 million), compared with a loss of €12 million in the second quarter. Outokumpu posted positive earnings of €4 million in the year-ago period. ....
