NEW YORK — High-carbon ferromanganese prices have softened as slow spot activity has led suppliers to take business at lower numbers, market participants told AMM.

"The spot market right now has dried up," according to one trader. "You see more and more people pulling back."Prices are now between $1,150 and $1,200 per long ton, down from $1,190 to $1,230 per ton previously. Truckload business has been reported at....
