Aluminum wheels prices at premium to LME again

NEW YORK — Secondary aluminum wheels are back to trading at a premium above the London Metal Exchange primary aluminum price, though one trader said that demand could cool in the winter months.

Market participants said 356.1 wheels are currently trading in the low- to mid-90-cent range, with most sellers quoting the item at around 95 cents per pound and buyers pushing for prices of 91 to 92 cents, they told AMM. ....
