NEW YORK — Nyrstar NV produced a record 80,000 tonnes of zinc in concentrate during the third quarter, up 5.3 percent from the preceding three months.
The Zurich, Switzerland-based company attributed its increased recoveries to improved performance at its Tennessee mines, where production ticked up 17 percent quarter on quarter to 28,000 tonnes following the introduction of optimization programs.
