SANTIAGO, Chile ArcelorMittal Brasil is waiting for better market conditions to unfreeze its steel expansion projects in the country, according to chief executive officer Benjamin Baptista.
The market started 2012 with an optimistic view, but economic fundamentals have gotten worse during the year. For 2013, we expect a healthy scenario, at least in terms of (the) economy, he told AMM sister publication Steel First on the sidelines of Alaceros 53rd Latin American steel conference in Santiago, Chile.....
