Some ports still closed in aftermath of storm

NEW YORK Some major metal-handling ports along the East Coast remained closed Tuesday as the impact of superstorm Sandy continued to be felt.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said on its website that all public marine terminals would remain closed until further notice. Attempts to reach the port authority for further comment were unsuccessful.
The Maryland Port Administrations public marine terminals, including the Port of Baltimore, also remained closed to all ship and truck traffic Tuesday, and a port spokesman said the U.S. Coast Guard was keeping access channels leading to the port closed.....
