Gershow works to recover from storm

NEW YORK — Gershow Recycling Corp. is still recovering from "severe but not catastrophic damage" caused by Hurricane Sandy, with four of its facilities still without power and a truck scale at its Freeport, N.Y., facility washed away by flooding.

Gershow president Kevin Gershowitz told AMM on Wednesday that four of the Medford, N.Y.-based company’s eight sites are without power due to widespread outages in the region.
