Latin American seamless pipe production to hit record in 2012

Chile Production of seamless steel pipe in Latin America is expected to
reach an all-time high this year, according to figures released by the region's
steel association, Alacero.
Output is
expected to total 2.35 million tonnes in 2012, up from the previous record of
2.22 million tonnes set in 2006, Alacero disclosed in a report during its 53rd Latin American steel
conference in Santiago,....
